LIVE "Your" DREAMS
"Don't waste your time living someone else's life. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your inner voice. Have the courage to follow the heart and intuition for they somehow know what you truly want to become." These words by Steve Jobs prove why he stood out. These aren't merely words but bricks on which his entire life was built;and "How Extraordinarily?" is a question we needn't task.
But sadly today, even after years of progress and development, we are trapped in a web where our neighbour's marks, our cousin's salary and the opinions of one and all roar louder than our inner voice. Our lives have become mere reflection of dogma where our freedom to think, change and make headway succumbs to the mainstream credence.
It's not like children don't get encouragement from their families to pursue thier dreams. They are calmly thrown on a two way path which either makes them a doctor or an engineer. A growing child is seldom allowed to develop in a permissive environment. Aspiration apart from these find themselves rotten in a dark corners where they hardly see daylight. Years later that doctor or einginner stand abashed in front of those aspiration that question his passions and endeavours. This is because in an attempt to become good characters in other people's stories, we forget to write our own and then one fine day, those empty pages leave us with nothing but regret.
Once a senior journalist asked CEO of a company if he was satisfied with his life .He replied,"I do have everything today, but I'm not contented. I wanted to be a wildlife photographer. I lived someone else's dreams." We are imprisoned for we have been taught to live in the fear of what others think; and this legacy of ours will continue to haunt the future of our ingenious fellows.
So learn to question, to dream and to explore. Learn to live and not just exist. Don't aspire to become the best of yourself. Fortunately or not, you have authority over nobody's life but you's . And even then,if people choose to be spectators of your journey, make sure you present a unique story with a tint of your own style. Make sure you put up a good show.
THANK YOU..
